Duties of Drivers and Riders – Part I

There are certain duties that must be followed by all the drivers and the riders while using the road. They are summarized as below:

• Driver should be physically and mentally fit.
• Drive carefully at all times and pay full attention to the traffic.
• Do not play loud music in the vehicle. It may affect the vision and hearing abilities of the driver.
• Pay special attention to pedestrians, cyclists, children, elderly and physically challenged.
• Do not cause obstruction to other road users or property owners while driving or parking your vehicle.
• Ensure safety of passengers while boarding and disembarking the vehicle.
