Related to Road Safety
In order to strengthen the road safety scenario in the state of Rajasthan, the Lead Agency, Department of Transport and Road Safety from time to time introduce various schemes. Some of the important milestones the Government has achieved include notifying scheme for carrying out accident investigation, developing wayside amenities and establishing traffic aid post under section 135 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. Other schemes include Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Jeevan Raksha Yojna to reward Good Samaritans, CM Road Safety Awards, developing Road Safety Corner at Dealer's Point and Treatment of Road Accident Victims.
