Sec 177 - General provisions for punishment of offences: Rs. 100/- (2W and 3W), Rs. 200/- (for others)

Sec 177A - Penalty for contravention of regulations u/s 118: From Rs. 500/- to Rs. 1,000/-

Sec 179(2) - Refusal to give information or gives false information: Rs. 1,000/-

Sec 181 - - Driving without license: Rs. 5,000/-

Sec 182(1) - Driving motor vehicle after disqualification of driving license: Rs. 10,000/-

Sec 182A(4) - Alteration of motor vehicle by owner not permitted under the Act or Rues: Rs. 5,000/- per alteration

Sec 183(1)(1) - Driving or allowing a person an LMV with excess speed: Rs. 1,000/-

Sec 183 (1)(ii) - Driving or allowing a person a Medium or Heavy Goods or Passenger vehicle with excess speed: Rs. 2,000/-

Sec 184(C) - Driving dangerously (only to the extent to the use of handheld communication device) - Rs. 1,000/-

Sec 189 - Racing and trials of speed without the written consent of state government: Rs. 5,000/-
