Persons Killed and Injured Due to Non-Use of Helmet

Driving a two-wheeler or carrying a passenger on a two-wheeler without using helmet causes serious injuries in case of a road crash. It is evident from the analysis of road crash data issued by the ministry and State Governments. In Rajasthan 3052 people died and 5269 people got injured in year 2022 for not using helmet.

In India 46593 people died and 93763 people got injured in year 2021 due to not using helmet while driving two wheeler.
