Seatbelt is a primary and important safety gear in four wheelers and heavy vehicles. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NTHSA), USA, seatbelts reduce the risk of death for a front seat car occupant by about 50 percent and prevents fatal injury for rear seat occupants by 75 percent.
