General Precautions Related to Speed Management

  1. Control the speed when approaching an intersection, blind spot or unanticipated areas. Do not assume hazards free drive.
  2. Speeding on a poorly maintained road may lead to upturn or skidding.
  3. The speed of the vehicle should be proportionate with other road users. Neither too fast, nor too slow.
  4. Keep the vehicle speed slow while driving under adverse conditions.
  5. Always control the speed with the help of gears while coming down on a steep descent. This will help in controlling the speed adequately while the brakes can be used as additional support to stop the vehicle.
