Speed
General Precautions Related to Speed Management
- Control the speed when approaching an intersection, blind spot or unanticipated areas. Do not assume hazards free drive.
- Speeding on a poorly maintained road may lead to upturn or skidding.
- The speed of the vehicle should be proportionate with other road users. Neither too fast, nor too slow.
- Keep the vehicle speed slow while driving under adverse conditions.
- Always control the speed with the help of gears while coming down on a steep descent. This will help in controlling the speed adequately while the brakes can be used as additional support to stop the vehicle.
