3. Look All Around for Traffic and Listen
Looking all around for traffic is important similarly, at times listening for movement of traffic and vehicles is also necessary. Many a times we get warned by honking and we immediately notice an approaching vehicle. Always look properly and try to listen for traffic sounds.
That is why it is suggested that one should avoid using mobile phone or wearing headphones while walking or using the road. Take the following precautions before starting to cross the road:
- Look all around for traffic and listen.
- Look in every direction.
- Listen carefully because you can sometimes hear traffic before you can see it.
