Road Safety for Children is Important

Road crashes are a major cause of death and injury among the youth and children. With each year it gains more importance as traffic increases year after year.

A child's life is full of distractions involving playing with friends, having fun while going to school, using mobile phone, listening to music, or just letting their mind wander etc. Therefore, awareness of road safety is important for children to learn and practice in life.

When children grow they are given more freedom to travel without parents. They start spending more time out of home with friends. As they grow, it becomes important for teachers and parents to teach them about dangers present on road and precautions they need to take to keep themselves safe.
