Road Safety for Children

Children use roads for going to school either with their parents or by public transport like school bus and auto rickshaw, bicycling or walking. Children get distracted easily hence their safety is especially important. It is essential to teach students about road safety from an early age.

Road safety for children refers to the methods and precautions that they must learn to behave safely around roads, avoiding being killed or injured. Road Safety can be defined as keeping ourselves safe and taking care of safety of other road users while using the road.

Typical road users include pedestrians, cyclists, two wheeler riders, passengers, and passengers of public transport etc.
