Walking – First Step Towards Safety
Our journey or travel starts from the very first step that is walking. The choice of vehicle or its ownership does not matter because once the vehicle is parked the owner and the passengers will have to walk. Therefore, the first step towards safety starts with safe walking.
Children are curious and they rely largely on imitation for learning so it is very important for you to learn from right example. To learn about road safety, discuss with your teachers in school and your parents at home. You might have noticed, parents do not allow children going out alone. As you grow and learn you become capable of doing things of your own. Similarly, starting road safety education at an earlier age is beneficial for you.
As children grow, they start making decisions for themselves and mistakenly they believe that they know everything. You need to know that road safety is a serious matter and the rules must be followed.
