Other Rules

• The stretch of road outside the school to be prominently marked with SCHOOL ZONE by introducing traffic signs, markings, zebra crossing etc.
• It is imperative to control vehicular speed in front of the school. Maximum speed limit outside school is 25 km/hr.
• Speed of traffic opposite school gate is further reduced to 10 km/hr with the provision of speed breakers.
• Warning road signs showing figure of a school boy and school girl are installed on the road before approach of the school.
• School staff needs to remain present at time of opening and closing the school to help school children to cross the road after alighting or before boarding the bus.
• Boarding and alighting from the school buses to be arranged on the school side of the road so that children do not have to cross the road.
